For years I have not been able to come up with a definite answer on what/who/which is cooler.
Ninjas: Wear all black, are trained assassins, could easily kill you for their own amusement. They were also masters of propaganda. They waged war with fear of all of their mythical abilities.
Pirates: Flashy, usually had some cool shit (because they stole it), pension for kidnapping hot virgins, and they were violent as hell. Pirates, like ninjas are shrouded in myths and fairy tales.
Looking at just that small amount of facts it seems hard to pick a winner.
I will introduce you to one piece of evidence, you do with it what you will. I however have made up my mind.
I would say the Pirates have won. Maybe not the war, but they took this battle in a landslide victory.
